Cherry case in as found condition in original and worn in places finish. Having found a similar example sold at auction on the internet this clock originally had a scalloped top piece between the finials and a half round decorative piece on each side of the top chimney block. The right finial's tip is damaged. Other than that the rest of the case appears to be intact. Original paper dial has age darkened. Interesting paper beat scale in the bottom of the case. Hands and pendulum are original. Movement is signed. Sold by Russell & Jones after they took over the Terry Clock Co. in 1888. - movement marked Terry, so probably remaining old stock. Ht 40"
