the case has its old dry original surface, and old patina on the brass sidearms, bezel, pendulum, eagle finial and row of balls at the base. The glasses are replacements, but a note claims that the original flaked throat tablet is behind the new one. The original weight retains some of its gold paint, and the metal dial has tarnished. The convex glass is fine. The rear label is absent, and the hands are mismatched Ht 45"
