we do not find this model in Demeter's book, so it may be a special-order style made for The James P. Marsh Company which started business in 1865 in Skokie, Illinois as a producer of industrial instruments. The heavy case has been brightly polished and lacquered, the silvered metal dial has the engraved Marsh name and date, and the jeweled balance-wheel movement is #24872. Ht 10.5"
