George Maynard, Medford, England tall clock, 8 days, time, calendar and bell strike, weight driven movement in an oak case with brass dial and spandrels, c1770 the case has been refinished, the center finial is absent and the two side finials are replacements. There are age splits to both sides of the hood. The trunk does not seat squarely in the base, which causes it to lean heavily forward. The hands and weights are replacements. The pendulum and crank key are both period. Ht 87"
