Vienna Regulator, Germany or Austria, walnut quarter striking 8 days, 3 weight wall clock, c1900 this large ornate case, with its fancy top, is in very nice refinished condition, ornamented with full carved columns, turned finials and moldings, and framed burl panel on the backboard. The engraved brass dial has porcelain cartouche numbers, the weights and pendulum bob are patterned, and the unsigned movement has 2 coil gongs mounted to its back plate. One small lower finial is absent, and a skeleton key or latch is needed to keep the door closed. Note that one glass side panel is loose. Ht 66"
