Lyre clock, New England, 8 days, time only, weight driven movement in a carved mahogany and mahogany veneer case with a painted metal dial and reverse painted tablet, c1830 the case retains its original finish with crack repair and portion of base absent on leaf finial. There are three age splits to the carved throat frame. The dial has been repainted and has a later applied Aaron Willard signature. There are multiple empty holes underneath dial. The weight baffle is a replacement. Ht 40"
