Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 3", wall clock, 8 days, time and strike, two weight driven movement, in a, rosewood veneer case with painted metal dial and nickel plated pendulum bob, c1879 the clock retains its excellent original finish with a minor 1/2" x 1/2" veneer flake above 1 o'clock and the upper right finial and plinth professionally replaced on the bezel. The frame around lower glass has been repainted nickel. The old dial is a replacement, repainted by the Dial House of Georgia in 1985 and shows good character. The beat scale has been replaced. Ht
