this is in excellent condition. The consigner purchased it new and was told that only 4 of this style were made These reportedly were among the last clocks made before they closed their Massachusetts operations. The case has "2" stamped into the wood; the movement is numbered 1810; the heavy cast eagle finial is numbered 45770. We sold its sister back in November 2009 for $4600. Ht 41"
