Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 1 Extra", wall clock, 8 days, time and strike, two weight driven movement in a rosewood veneer case with painted metal dial and reverse painted lower tablet, c1866 the original finish is nicely rubbed down with a series of small veneer flakes on inside of bezel. The dial has been clear coated with some flaking underneath. The lower tablet has been reblacked. The tulip style hands are original. The original gold leafed pendulum stick, label and beat scale are in excellent condition. Note the rectangular movement was designed by S. B. Terry. Ht 42"
