Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "Monumental Gallery" wall clock (140 series), 8 days, time only, compounded weight driven movement with external slow / fast adjustment in an oak case with 28" painted wooden dial and counterbalanced hands, c1920 the clock is in excellent original untouched condition with original finish and paint on wooden dial. The Howard signed movement is stamped "12 1/2". The hands, pendulum (with repair on upper portion of stick) and weight are original. The rear of the wooden dial has provenance professionally noted claiming original installation at the Maine Central Railroad Station in Lewiston, Maine. Ht 37", Width 88"
