Refinished mahogany veneered case in nice clean condition with a couple of very small veneer repairs. Original painted dial with some small scattered loss. Hands are original. These clocks are very late as evidenced by the date on the label and were about the last of the wood movement clocks made. Some of these late Boardmans had painted tablets, but this tablet is about 1860-1870 and did not start life in this clock, however it was changed carefully with no putty nor signs of change to the door. Ht 25"
