Refinished rosewood veneered case in original finish with small veneer loss on the back edges of the case. Original painted dial with mismatched paint repairs in the center, at the winding arbor and the slow/fast lever. Movement is signed. Hands are not original. Remains of a label on the back of the case. Label notes J. C. Brown's 1856 patent for round sided case. Ht 8 3/4"
