Elisha Manross, Bristol, Conn, 8 day, time and strike fusee strap brass movement steeple on frame or double steeple shelf clock, c1845 The veneer looks to have been fully redone some time ago and now has a very dark shiny finish with some loss on the base and just below the upper door. The upper right finial looks to be replaced. Original painted dial has yellowed a little with scattered paint loss. Mirror tablet is a replacement. Nice Fenn center tablet. Hour hand looks to be replacement. Clean label inside the case. Ht 23 1/2"
