English tall clock, 8 days, time and bell strike, weight driven movement in a mahogany veneer case with painted iron dial, c1840 the case is in good condition with well figured crotch mahogany and an age split in front of plinth. The movement is absent a seat board, a minute hand and the bell stand is a replacement. The pendulum is incomplete and only has the pendulum bob and a partial wire. Ht 97 1/2"
