varnish on case surface darkened, but appears to retain much of the rosewood graining underneath, some rubs and scratches, case bottom has been reattached, bezel with split on back, case top with splits where plinth for eagle is attached, the plinth and eagle should be removed, hole in iron hanger filed, dial pan original, now with a later dial riveted to it, hands incorrect, bezel glass original, lower glasses replaced, and with incorrect decoration, paint failing on lower glass, movement running, correct weight, pendulum replaced, Ht 32"
