the original gold surface on this ornate case shows some greenish wear in places but still looks good overall. The signed porcelain dial has a prominent crack; the hand-painted front porcelain bowed panel is fine, as is the beveled glass. There is small crack in the foot of the top screwed-on ornament, and the rear door hinge needs to be resoldered. The round movement strikes on a coil gong. Ht 15.5"
