France, 8 day time and calendar carriage clock, spelter case in silver finish with caryatid corners, and decorated with classical style ornament, beveled glasses, Roman numeral white enamel dial with day of the week and date display, the calendar advancing at midnight, blued steel hands, key wind and set movement with lever platform, c1890 Case with darkening and minor losses and some small touch ups to finish, top corners with scarring, may originally have had small finials, handle a bit loose, back door may be replaced, glasses good, dial with minor scratches, flakes at center arbor, minute and hour hands may be replacements, calendar hands good, dial and movement lean slightly backward in case, movement running well and calendar advancing as it should, setting functional, platform replaced, Ht 7" to top of handle
