the lacquered brass case, with hinged bezel, has just small tarnish spots. The dial shows minor fading and scratches, but the applied bronze numbers and hands are fine. The early movement, serial number 86761, ticks and strikes okay. The number, 96854, stamped in the wood base is from the same year and possibly was associated with the movement right from the start. Ht 12"
