the original lacquered surface has minor wear, and the silvered dial looks good except for a small scratch and blemish near the 3. Movement number 638303 ticks and strikes briskly. The mahogany cradle does not fit the clock, but holds it upright okay. The glass has been secured with excessive hot glue, but this is not visible from the outside of the hinged bezel. Overall diameter 11"
