this heavy case was skillfully fabricated from an old porthole and pieces of sheet brass that were lacquered and now flaking a bit. The plywood back removes quickly for access to movement number 687888 which ticks. The painted metal dial has a few small blemishes and a rectangular cutout before the center shaft. The front round glass is absent. Ht 20"
