Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No. 9 Regulator" figure eight wall clock, 8 days, time only, weight driven movement in a walnut case with painted iron dial and reverse painted tablets, c1880 the case retains its original finish nicely rubbed down. The lower base has crack repairs from the weight falling through. The lower rosette has a very old chip. The throat tablet has been replaced and the lower tablet is original. There are multiple holes under original dial mounting board, the weight baffle is a replacement and the pendulum tie down absent. The dial retains its original paint and is in excellent condition with minor flaking on left perimeter. The weight has a crack, is painted gold and is not original. Ht 37 1/2"
