Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 1", 8 day, weight brass movement rosewood grained wall clock or timepiece, c1874 There is nice graining on the refinished case with just some minor edge chips on the veneered bezel. The painted metal dial has been redone and has a filled hole for a cross brace not present in this case, definitely from another clock. The reverse paint tablet is restored, and baffle board looks to be a thin sheet of plywood. The pendulum rod looks to be new. The hour hand looks to be a replacement as it is brass rather than steel.
