Regulator floor standing, 8 days, time only, weight driven Swiss movement with mercury pendulum, pinwheel escapement and center sweep seconds in a custom wooden case with reverse painted trunk door and base glasses and white enamel dial, c1880 the case appears to retain its original finish with an uneven glossy overcoat. The lower glass is a repaint on old glass and the trunk door glass has been reblacked. The movement is mounted on a seat board and rests on side brackets. Includes a custom bottom bracket to adapt to a wall hanging clock. Ht 70"
