New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn., "Regulator No. 2" wall clock, 8 days, time only, weight driven, Swiss movement with pinwheel escapement in a walnut case with Jenny Lind figure pediment top and white enamel dial, c1885 the case retains its original finish with minor restoration and added nails to secure base to clock. There are other very minor case defects. The dial is excellent with no hairlines. The clock top pediment has been restored and differs slightly from the Regulator No. 2 model shown in a line drawing in Tran Duy Ly's book "New Haven Clocks". Ht 88"
