Rosewood veneered case in an old and possibly original finish in very nice condition with some minor damage on the bottom edge of the chisel or slant bottom and a repair to the right side of the bottom door. Original painted dial with scattered loss around the edge. Hands are original. Original tablet in bottom door with some restoration to the gilt decoration. Case has a type III wagon spring movement. Ht 25"
