the case of this clock was refinished around 1970, and there is no graining, finish now with crazing. Approximately medium molasses in color. Only a third or so of label remains, torn and difficult to read. Otherwise it retains a super original dial, hands and pendulum. This clock has been hanging for the last 40 years in one place (I took it off the wall), and the movement is a bit dry and needs oiling. 12 inch dial. For additional details, see Tran Ly's book on Calendar Clocks, pages 48 -- 56. Primary interest in this clock centers around the multiple indications, especially the equation of time dial above 6.
