Franklin Mint reproduction of "The Old Royal Observatory Conical Pendulum Clock", mahogany, glass and lacquered brass, 8 day fusee works, c1983 "An official issue of the National Maritime Museum", this large and heavy fusee timepiece was produced in England for Franklin Mint. It is in very good original condition, with a few small corner dings, and includes its round glass dome. The horizontal movement is well made and will drive the rotating pendulum, but now may need service. The dial, including a moon phase indicator, is pristine. Fit into the base are the original brass winding bar and bubble level. Note the original price in 1983 was $2500, was limited to 1000 pieces. Ht to top of dome 26"
