"An official issue of the National Maritime Museum", this large and heavy fusee timepiece was produced in England for Franklin Mint. It is in very good original condition, with a few small corner dings, and includes its round glass dome. The horizontal movement is well made and will drive the rotating pendulum, but now may need service. The dial, including a moon phase indicator, is pristine. Fit into the base are the original brass winding bar and bubble level. Note the original price in 1983 was $2500, was limited to 1000 pieces. Ht to top of dome 26"
