the clock is now on a wooden base that fits the old rectangular glass dome. The dome has an 8" crack at one corner that has been glued over in an effort to stabilize it. The clock is mechanically sound, complete with chains intact, a nicely fretted dial and old hands. Pendulum is a quality replacement. A similar clock with this same frame is shown in Roberts book titled "British Skeleton Clocks", page 136, fig 22. Ht of clock frame and bell spire = 17", overall with dome and base = 25"
