the elaborate carved and turned case has an old dull finish but no losses. One small side molding piece is detached but inside the case. The original crest has been nailed into position. The fancy metal dial matches the pattern on the weight, pulleys, and pendulum bob, but one of the weights is absent. The cast brass beat scale also is fancy and old. Both glasses are modern, held by glazier points. The signed Medaille D'Or movement, number 92153, does its quarter hours, but needs adjustment. Ht 49"
