Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Ding Dong No. 2" mahogany Adamantine 8 days, time and strike, mantel clock, c1913 the bold red grained Adamantine veneer is in very good original condition with just a few small edge chips, and the cast metal swags have an old patina. The brass bezel has some tarnish, and the signed celluloid dial has a bit of discoloration. The convex glass is fine. The movement features striking on two resonant bells, similar to the company's Sonora Chime system. The paper instruction sheet remains inside the rear cover. Ht 12.25"
