the venerable British clockmaking firm recently offered a limited issue of this clock design, described to 18th century English clockmaker James Ferguson but never produced. Castings intentionally are rough, but the quality is typically high from this maker. A brass plate provides the details and shows that this is number 234. Ht 16", with weights and seconds pendulum below. c1975
