Ives, Bristol, Conn., 8 days, time and strike, weight brass movement triple decker shelf clock, c1835 Mahogany veneered case in original finish with some veneer loss on the base and a chip on the bottom door. Original painted dial with some loss at the mounting pins. Evidence suggests this case probably had a stenciled splat that is now missing. Remains of original stencils on the small turned columns under a dark finish. Both tablets are original with significant loss. Hands and ball feet are original. Clean label inside the case. Height minus the missing top is 33"
