At first glance this timepiece looks to be a Baird clock, but is English made, c1900. Paper mache advertising case in nice as found condition. Paper dial is in poor condition with stains, tears and wear. Hands are original. Movement is signed. Bezel glass is broken. This firm was operated by Edward Davies, brother of Henry J. & Walter D. Davies who operated the Ansonia Clock Co. Ht 17.5"
