Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "World", 15 day, spring, brass movement, long drop octagon timepiece, c1909 Rosewood veneered case in an old finish with some bubbled veneer on the octagon members of the case along with some shrinkage splits and filled in split areas. There are a couple of small areas on the drop portion of the case that have bubbled veneer. The gilt molding on the bottom door is now gold painted. Original dial looks to have original paint with some minor loss in the center and at the seconds dial. Hands are original. Signed movement. Ht 32"
