Clocks- 2 (Two): (1) Automaton dial of man having his shoes shined in an alarm clock style case, c1886 (2) C. C. C, (Centennial Cabinet Clock) lever movement novelty timepiece, c1875 Aug. S. Jerome, New York. Augustus was the oldest of the three sons of Chauncey Jerome. (1) Brass case with some dings on the front edge and a dent at the carrying handle. Time setting knob is missing. Original paper dial has age darkened a little. Ht 4.25" (2)Decorated tin case has a little wear and light rust from handling the case to remove the front. Paper dial is very clean and the hands are original. A very nice label on the back of case. This model was also manufactured by S. B. Jerome, his brother. Ht 4.5"
