Terry & Andrews, Bristol, Conn., four posted steeple or "Sharp Gothic" mantel clock, 8 days, time and strike, brass spring driven movement in a mahogany veneer case with painted metal dial and reverse painted tablet, c1850 the case has an old finish with minor veneer chips, primarily on base. The four original top finials are in excellent condition. The tablet have been repainted. The flowers on the dial were added when they the tablet was repainted. The original Terry & Andrews fancy pendulum is present. The upper pressed brass piece of this pendulum is often missing. Ht 19 1/2"
