Clocks- 2 (Two) 8 days, mantel clocks: French cast metal time and strike, on padded carved gilt wood base, c1850; Ansonia "Gold Medallion" modern wood and beveled glass bracket clock with German chiming movement, c1980 the ornate French case has an old patina, the porcelain dial has a few hairlines (there never was a front bezel or glass), and the round thread-suspension unsigned movement has count wheel and bell striking. The heavy fancy Ansonia, a brief revival of the famous name, is in very nice overall condition. Sold as is, no further details available. Hts 20" and 19"
