Brewster & Ingrahams, Bristol, Conn., beehive or "Round Gothic" mantel clock, 8 days, time and strike, Kirk's Patent repeating brass movement with cast iron back plate in a mahogany veneer case with painted wooden dial and monochrome silk screened tablet, c1843 the case has an old finish and the veneer is mostly absent from the base molding and other minor chips elsewhere. The dial is slightly warped and a correction has been attempted with a circular wooden base on the rear. The hands are proper replacements and need to be fitted. Ht 19"
