Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Carson" 8 days, time and strike, city series striking hours on a Cathedral gong and half hours on a bell mantel clock, c1888 Nickel plated brass and bronze case with some wear to the high points on the columns and some of the flat areas. There is small dent on the cross piece below the dial. Original porcelain dial with a chip on the strike side winding arbor and hairline cracks. The dial grommet on the strike side is missing. Hands look to be original. The chime support has been moved. Ht 14.5"
