Eli Terry Jr., Plymouth Conn., pillar and splat short drop shelf clock, 30 hours, wooden works, time and strike, with reverse painted lower tablet, c1833 the case is refinished with veneer repair at the bottom but still retains its original setenciling on pillars and splat. The upper glass and lower tablet, with minor flaking, are original. The dial retians its original paint with some dirtying. The label is intact with minor losses. The door retains its escutcheon and lock. Ht 28 1/2"
