English, a single fusee skeleton timepiece, with a simple solid brass chapter ring, in a "Lyre" style frame, and with robust baluster pillars, on a rosewood veneered base with glass dome, c1860 This is a robust but modest quality clock, that has main wheels, each with 4 tapered spokes, and the side motion gears are solid with no spokes. There was perhaps a chain to the fusee originally, now cable. The glass dome is in good condition, and the clock ticks Ok. Ht 13"
