Ansonia Clock Co., Ansonia, Conn., "Griffin", 8 days, time and strike, gilt brass and onyx crystal regulator mantel clock, c1914 Onyx and brass case with gilt ornaments with a couple of tiny chips on the top edges, a chip to the onyx on the bottom right corner, a small piece missing on the back bottom edge and a crack near the end on the same piece. The ornamental mounts retain most of their gilding. There is a small hairline crack in the original dial at the winding holes. The beveled glass panels are perfect. Hands are perfect. Ht 13"
