Mahogany veneered case in an old finish with veneer repair on the bottom of the door and the cross strip. The repaired scrolls might have been replaced. The feet might have been replaced also. Tablet is not original and is cracked. R. Whiting made almost no pillar and scroll clocks, but his tall clocks had short labels. This is probably a Wadsworth which has a replaced, but old backboard with a Whiting label. Painted dial is very nice for its age. Ht 30"
