clock is mounted to a later wooden base, and the dome has a large 8 inch section that was broken out & glued in. Movement is very dark and generally oily; does tick and strike, but will need cleaning before regular operation. Hands and chains are original. Steel decorations from tops of spires are absent; ball on center spire is a replacement and is loose. Ht of frame to spire tip = 15" Overall ht with base and dome 18"
