Brewster & Ingrahams, Bristol, Conn. 8 days, black and gilt gallery timepiece with an iron back plate horizontal movement, c1845 The case looks to have been overpainted with gold paint on the original gilding a long time ago and shows considerable age with some small loss on the edges. Original painted dial with some wear to the numbers. This model did not have a glass over the dial. Hands are original. No evidence of a label.
