English, single fusee skeleton timepiece, in an extra fancy scrolling frame, with pierced silvered dial and glass dome, c1870 clock is mounted to a piece of marble, now resting on a shaped wooden base with old glass dome. The clock is clean and running. Dome is good with no cracks. Movement has a 6 spoke hour wheel, however train wheels are 4 spoke; motion gears are not spoked. Although this is a known frame, it is not pictured in our skeleton literature [Roberts nor Royer-Collard]. Ht of frame = 14", overall ht = 18"
