the high-grade movement ticks briskly, the pin-setting functions but is sticky, and the up-down indicator works properly. The case is scuffed and scratched but undamaged, the metal hardware is a bit tarnished. The dial is very good with just a few tiny dark spots. Ht of closed box 6"
