Eli and Samuel Terry, Plymouth, Conn., 30 hours, time and strike, weight wood movement pillar & scroll shelf clock, c1825 Mahogany veneered case with remains of original finish has veneer loss and some age cracks on the door. A small piece of the half round molding on the upper left corner is missing. Feet and bottom skirt are replacements. Wood dial is old, but from a later half-column clock. Scrolls are original with some lifting of the veneer. Movement is original to the case. Cracked original tablet has a glass behind to protect what remains. Hands are original. Dark but readable label inside the case. Original set of finials. Key escutcheon has been replaced with a brass insert. Ht 29"
