there are veneer repairs on cross piece separating glasses and minor roughness on veneer on base. The dial and hands are original. According to Spittler and Bailey's Clockmakers and Watchmakers of America" the Forestville Hardware Clock Co., was only in business between the years 1853 to 1855 and few examples are known. Ht 12 3/4"
