Walnut case has been refinished and shows one small burn mark on the lower left case return. Both dials are original painted dials with minor paint chipping at the mounting screw holes. The movement is signed, strikes on a cup bell and the hands are original. The interior case label is partially missing. The case has a stenciled date "5881B" (February 1885) on the back side. Ht 27".
